Elise (エリーゼ Erīze) is a character in Gungnir. She can wield rapiers and bows and belongs to the Valkyrie class. As the self-proclaimed "Scribe" who hails from Asgard to chronicle the Demon Lance Gungnir, she has no interest in anyone else aside from Giulio. She is first introduced in Scene 03 during the battle with Pierre. Strangely enough, she gets along with Alissa and strongly dislikes Isabeli.
Appearance[]
Elise has long ponytail blue hair and blue eyes. Elise dresses differently from the other characters in the game. While the other characters dress in dark colored clothing, she wears bright colored clothes. Her clothing is decorated with many pairs of white wings.
Personality[]
Elise is a pragmatic, matter-of-fact woman. She is blunt and direct with her speech and doings, often coming off as arrogant.
Curiously, despite her otherwordly nature and emotional detachment from humans and their doings, Elise nevertheless has an appreciation for human food and enjoys a good meal.
Story[]
The succession[]
Elise first appears to Giulio in Scene 03 when he finds himself inside a Gate. She names him the successor to Gungnir and instructs him to claim it.
The truth[]

In Scene 26, Elise goes to pursue Isabeli after she revives and tries to escape again. The two have a debate about Gungnir, where its purpose as the key to open a Gate and bring about the end of the world is revealed. Elise affirms her duty is to act as an impassionate safekeeper of Gungnir until it fulfills its purpose, surprising Isabeli with her indifference.
However, when Isabeli argues that their goal is ultimately the same and letting history run its course leads to the same result she wants, Elise rebukes and condemns her for interfering with natural order and serving Hades' intents.
Later life[]

Elise's ending depends on the story path. In Side A, she stays to live with Giulio and his family and observe Gungnir.
In Side B, she is seen traveling the wilds alone while expressing her annoyance with Giulio, who threw Gungnir away and failed as this age's successor.
Gameplay[]
Elise's class is Valkyrie, a versatile physical fighter. In addition to sharing the Archer's abilities, she is one of the two units who can use rapiers, along Natalia.
Elise first joins as a Lv 21 guest unit in Scene 03. She becomes fully available party member starting with Scene 04. She joins at Lv 15.
