Meute (ミューテ Myūte) is a non-playable character in Riviera: The Promised Land. She's an Undine that lives in Undine Spring and for some unexplained reason is unable to speak (her name is a pun on this handicap). Giving her the Moondrop from Lacrima Castle will gradually restore her voice, and she will develop feelings for Ein for this act of kindness. She will give Ein an Ice Javelin as a reward for helping her.
If you heal Meute, then between Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 Lulu will tell you, that Meute's been asking her to teach her words for some *unknown reason*. Then between Chapter 4 and Chapter 5, Lulu will tell you that she remembers Ein's name now, because that's all Meute says.
