A minor character introduced in the beginning of Chapter 5: Truth and Sin, Light and Shadows. She is a seer in the service to the Fantasinian Royal Family. She was the one who revealed to Yggdra that Gulcasa made a dangerous deal with Brongaa. She also advised Yggdra to have herself coronated in order for the Gran Centurio to acknowledge her as its new owner and allow Yggdra to have access to its full powers. If Yggdra fails to stop Gulcasa from awakening Brongaa, Mother Paltina is shown is briefly screaming in horror as she foresees the terrible things about to happen. The portrait used to represent her in-game is that of a generic old woman.
