Accursed (インフェルノス Inferunosu, Infernos) are especially powerful beings of the Underworld in Dept. Heaven series.
The Accursed[]
Riviera[]
The Accursed are powerful entities in Riviera - The Promised Land, who are the main source of the demons' resurgence throughout the game. They are antagonistic, though they each have their different personalities. There are a total of 5 Accursed: Aghart, Isher, Lindwurm, Archangel, and Death. The Accursed were all sealed away within various areas of Riviera, though they had been unleashed (possibly the work of Hector's scheming). They are all reborn in the Maze of Shadows as Dark Progenitors, where they are each fought again.
Knights in the Nightmare[]
Although the game does not refer to them by this name, Zolgonark's servants Rivulia, Dotaurus and Scoppio are called "the triad of Accursed" in Dept. Heaven Episodes World Guidance.
The Dark Progenitors[]

The Dark Progenitors (闇の眷属 Yami no kenzoku, Dark Vassals) are reincarnations of the Accursed. They are encountered in the Maze of Shadows. Their names are Dark Aghart, Dark Isher, Dark Lindwurm, Darkangel, and Dark Death. The Progenitors are more powerful incarnations of the Accursed, boasting all around superior stats, but behave exactly the same.
Their pre-battle monologue offers an insight into the origin of demons and Accursed's power, implying that they manifest because of fear and can become fully reborn if they feed on enough of it.
